Hope you made it into Monument Valley and the Four Corners too! We have tons of challenges ahead. I just hope the leadership ahead is more mature and forward looking that the ones we have now. I was disgusted in April when I made a business trip into Orlando with a bunch of boomer types that just do not seem to understand what is happening in the country. At the same time, I was inspired by young Uber drivers who were pursuing businesses and technical careers and attempting to break away from the corporate mold we were all sold on. Large swaths of both sides of my family are die-hard socialists, so I do my best to avoid the dour attitudes and perspectives and press forward. I still think there are enough positive and motivated people in this nation that can re-forge the republic as it was founded, but the margin may be narrow. Onward and upward!
Excellent read Marty. So important for Americans to continue to get out there, explore and interact with one another to understand they are being feed a myopic view of our country. We keep moving forward and we keep tweaking the things don't work. Hopefully with wisdom and American spirit we will avoid allow the European Elite from dragging us back into the 1700 century with them. You could think they would have given up by now. ha
